Courtney Auman MD

Dr. Courtney Auman is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. She graduated with Highest Honors from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Public Health and went on to complete her medical doctorate at UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Auman completed a four-year Anesthesiology residency at Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, NC and was appointed Chief Resident during her final year. Following residency, she completed a fellowship in Pain Medicine at Wake Forest and Carolina's Pain Institute. Dr. Auman is a member of the American Board of Anesthesiology, North Carolina Society of Anesthesiologists, North Carolina Medical Society, and the Pain Society of the Carolinas. A North Carolina native and enthusiastic Tar Heel fan, Dr. Auman lives on the coast with her husband and three children.
