Ashwin Viswanathan M.D.

Dr. Viswanathan is a neurosurgery graduate of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed his fellowship in Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery at Oregon Health Science University in Portland, Oregon.

Dr. Viswanathan's clinical practice focuses on deep brain stimulation, trigeminal neuralgia, cancer pain, and chronic pain. Dr. Viswanathan's research interests include local field potential analysis to optimize deep brain stimulator implantation, and determining the spinal mechanisms which underlie pain transmission.
